The Abomination: Dodge Green Markers and Clear Crawlers

The Abomination is the large purple humanoid boss. Its call for help signals a phase that requires both target switching and attention to the floor.

  1. Shoot while the boss is vulnerable. Watch for “The Abomination calls for help!” and the IMMUNE label.
  2. Check beneath your feet. A bright green circle with a segmented glowing rim and a translucent vertical column marks the incoming eruption.
  3. Move sideways out of the marked area before it erupts. Look down briefly to judge the edge, then turn back toward the enemies once you are clear.
  4. Clear the summoned Crawlers. Resume shooting The Abomination when it can take damage again.
  5. Finish the boss and remaining required enemies. The barrier turns green with CLEAR, opening the way to Stage 9.

Treat the ground marker as the immediate priority even when you are aiming at a Crawler: staying in the marked spot to finish a target exposes you to the eruption.

Green energy erupts inside the marked circle beside the player's new position.

King Gloop and Count Rattlebones: Manage the Adds

King Gloop

Attack the large crowned green boss until Glooplings join the fight. Prioritize the Glooplings, then return your fire to King Gloop. Removing the smaller enemies gives you more room to finish the boss.

A slow-reloading shotgun can make this phase awkward because each reload leaves you waiting between targets. If the small enemies are overwhelming your firing pace, return and equip a faster-firing option. The dungeon crowd-clearing gun recommendations compare firing rhythm and reload pressure. Defeating King Gloop unlocks Stage 14.

King Glob can yield Emerald after defeat.

Count Rattlebones

Recognize Count Rattlebones by its giant skeleton body, top hat and dark cape.

  1. Fire at the boss while it is vulnerable.
  2. Switch to the small enemies when IMMUNE appears. They can also drop items, so clearing them contributes to both the fight and your collection.
  3. Watch for airborne bones and purple circles on the ground. Jump to avoid the attacks while continuing to move through the fight.
  4. Resume damage on the boss when immunity ends. After the area displays CLEAR, collect the dropped ore.

Brrr-tus the Yeti: Keep Moving Through Snowballs

In Frost Peak, keep moving while firing at Brrr-tus the Yeti. It approaches you, throws large snowballs and summons smaller enemies, so standing still gives several threats time to converge.

  • Keep enough distance to react as the Yeti closes in.
  • Watch the large snowballs and move out of their path while maintaining fire.
  • Track newly summoned enemies as well as the boss so they do not crowd your movement space.

Defeating Brrr-tus unlocks Toy-Box Circus at Stage 45. Open Teleport and select the newly unlocked destination to continue.

Magmaw and Boss Reward Routes

Magmaw can be fought repeatedly without returning to the lobby between kills. Defeat MEGA-BOT to unlock Lava Core at Stage 61, then reach its Boss Fight arena. After clearing it, stay in the arena and follow the Respawning countdown. Attack Magmaw when it returns and collect the drops after each clear.

Riftglass is a possible drop. For the full route, pickup controls and rarity filters, use the Magmaw ore-farming guide.

Other boss rewards have separate uses:

  • Dragon Eggs can come from boss defeats, including The Butcher and The Abomination, but are not guaranteed on each kill. Use the egg guide to hatch one into a pet.
  • Tower Tickets can also be obtained through boss fights. They are used for Shadow Tower entry; the initial floors 1–5 bracket costs 1 ticket. See Shadow Tower entry and survival for preparation and the tower's own encounters.
