Find the ore you need, compare its rarity and ground-drop value, and decide whether to save it for crafting, a bounty or collection.

Ore Directory

Search by ore name, filter by rarity, or sort by ground-drop value in Coins. Open More details for acquisition routes, sale conditions and crafting uses.

The coin number beside a ground drop is its displayed value, not a collection fee. Use the current Sell quote when deciding how much cash a sale will provide.

The Mythic ores are Hivecore, Starweave and Voidtear; their crafting uses make them worth considering separately from drops with a displayed coin value.

Where to Look for Specific Ores

Defeat Dungeon enemies to produce ore drops, then approach the material you want and hold E at Collect until the progress circle finishes.

  • Cobalt: Search the graveyard stages, especially when your bounty asks for Cobalt. Emerald also occurs along this progression route.
  • Opal: Look during earlier Dungeon progression as well as deeper runs. You can start finding it before reaching the late regions.
  • Obsidian: Once Toy-Box Circus is unlocked, start from its Stage 45 teleport point and continue clearing onward. Sapphire, Amethyst and Solarite also occur along this route.
  • Riftglass: Continue through Robo Lab, or collect drops after defeating Magmaw in Lava Core. Robo Lab progression can also yield Plasma and Necrotine.
  • Hivecore: Watch for it during progression around the Stage 61 unlock.

These routes give you places to search; they are not exclusive spawn areas or fixed ore unlock stages. Choose a reachable route using the region starting stages and teleport unlocks. For pickup filters, bag management and repeated Magmaw fights, use the ore farming guide.

Use Current Rare-Ore Announcements

An Epic, Legendary or Mythic ore announcement points to a current opportunity at its named stage. Rare-ore announcements can point to early stages as well as deeper ones.

  1. Read the current announcement and note its rarity and stage number.
  2. Use an unlocked Teleport destination to reach the relevant part of the Dungeon, then clear toward the announced stage.
  3. Look for the announced rarity among the drops and collect the material you need.

Use the announcement currently on screen. A stage named by an earlier announcement is not a permanent location for that rarity, and the announcement does not unlock the route for you.

Keep Ore for Crafting, Bounties or Collection

  • Save materials for equipment you want to craft. Weapons and Armor both require at least four total ores per Forge attempt. Keep Starweave if you plan to mix it with Hivecore for Armor or Voidtear for Weapons. An Armor craft using Hivecore ×6 and Starweave ×2 produced Rare Crimson Crest: Mythic materials do not guarantee Mythic equipment. Compare ore combinations and their random results before committing a mixture.
  • Prioritize an accepted bounty's material target. If Treasure Run asks you to bring back four Cobalt, collect and return with those four rather than choosing every drop solely by coin value. Ore Run cards can instead ask for a total quantity, such as 25 or 55 ores. Follow your current bounty's objective.
  • Collect undiscovered ores for the Index. A new ore discovery contributes to collection and can provide Index XP, giving you a reason to pick up an ore outside your current crafting plan. Claim the available XP through the Index reward system.
  • Sell surplus when you need cash. Read the amount offered for the selected ore batch. Emerald's ground label is 120 Coins, while a separate sale of seven Emerald after 2x Cash was enabled paid 2,100 Coins total. Keep that transaction's conditions and batch quantity separate from the ground-drop label. Use the selling guide to choose between selling materials directly and crafting first.
