+1 Gun Forge Armor: Helmets, Body Armor and Health Choices

Compare pieces within the same equipment slot. Health, Value, and Slots can differ between copies with the same name, so use the conditions attached to each set of stats when comparing them with your inventory.

You need to own a piece before you can equip it.

1. Open Backpack and select Armor.
2. Select a helmet, inspect its item card, and press Equip.
3. Select a body armor piece and press Equip.
4. Check the Equipped message, item checkmarks, and the separate helmet and body slots to confirm both pieces are active.

Royal Spire and Iron Mail can be worn together because they occupy different slots. Equipping the +32 Health Frost Goggles configuration adds Health without increasing Power.

Fill both equipment slots before entering Shadow Tower. If you have Royal Spire with +18 Health and Iron Mail with +21 or +22, wear them together as an early survival setup.

For later upgrades, compare the actual bonuses within each slot:

• Body armor: Choose Frost Shell +69 over Crimson Oath +67 when extra Health is the deciding factor; the increase is 2 Health. Either provides more Health than Warden Bark copies at +40 or +42, or Iron Mail copies at +21, +22, or +23.
• Helmets: Crimson Crest copies at +33 or +34 offer more Health than Frost Goggles +32. A +32 Crimson Crest ties those goggles on Health, making rune capacity relevant. Royal Spire +18 and Iron Visor +9 provide smaller bonuses in these configurations.

Crimson Oath +67 paired with Crimson Crest +33 adds 100 Health from armor: 67 + 33. That is the combined bonus of those two copies, not your total character Health or a required Tower threshold.

A small Health upgrade can cost you enchantment capacity. Between the Crimson Crest copy with +32 Health and 2 Slots and the copy with +34 Health and 1 Slot, the choice is 2 extra Health versus one extra rune slot.

• Choose the +34 copy if immediate Health is your priority and one slot meets your needs.
• Keep the +32 copy if you want capacity for a second rune.
• Against Frost Goggles with +32 Health and 0 Slots, the two-slot Crimson Crest preserves the same Health bonus while offering more enchantment capacity.

The two-slot Crimson Crest has a Value of 109K Coins, while the +34 one-slot copy has a Value of 6.63K Coins. The higher Value does not make it the better Health upgrade; compare the attributes that serve your build.

At the lobby Forge, open the menu, select Armor, add at least four ores in total, and press Forge. The four ores do not have to be four different types. Armor forging produces random results; a successful mixture does not guarantee the same named piece or stats on your next attempt.

These mixtures can produce the following armor:

• Royal Spire: Cobalt ×4 produced an Uncommon copy with +18 Health.
• Iron Mail: Blightbloom ×1, Ruby ×2, and Platinum ×1 produced a Common copy with +23 Health and 1 Slot.
• Frost Goggles: Opal ×7 produced a Rare copy with +32 Health and 0 Slots.
• Crimson Crest: Starweave ×2 and Hivecore ×6 produced a Rare copy with +32 Health and 2 Slots. A separate Opal forge produced a +34 Health, 1 Slot copy; its apparent cost was Opal ×5.
• Frost Shell: Riftglass ×1 and Obsidian ×4 produced a Rare copy with +69 Health and 1 Slot.

Iron Visor is also obtainable through Armor forging, including a Common result with +9 Health and 0 Slots.

Warden Bark

Warden Bark is Uncommon body armor. Emberclot ×6 can produce it; one such copy equipped with +40 Health had a Value of 150 Coins. A separate Opal forge produced a +42 Health copy with 0 Slots and a Value of 3.86K Coins. The cost for that attempt appears to have been Opal ×5.

For a Health-focused upgrade from Iron Mail, either of these Warden Bark copies offers a larger bonus. Equip it in the body slot and keep a helmet equipped alongside it.
